Youthful Echoes
A Visual Tale of Singapores Playgrounds

Scratches, drawings, and scribbles mark traces of human presence, adding a unique character to Singapore’s playgrounds—once a central part of every neighbourhood and deeply meaningful to children. These spaces also became quiet retreats for teenagers, who left behind signs of their youth.
In contrast, newer playgrounds, though pristine, feel lifeless—lacking the "scars" that reflect time and community. This photo series captures the spirit of childhood, a feeling familiar to many Singaporeans who grew up playing in these spaces.




Fleeting Moments

 This project explores the fleeting nature of existence through a photographic series focused on four delicate, temporary subjects: smoke, clouds, reflections and shadows, and bubbles. Chosen for their transience, each image is composed with a mirrored effect, echoing the visual style of a Rorschach test.
 Inspired by the test’s ability to reveal subtle emotions and thoughts, the series reflects how such inner experiences are just as fragile and short-lived. Fleeting Moments serves as a reminder of life’s impermanence—where each moment can disappear in an instant.

City in the Making

This project offers a visual documentation of the transformation of the city's urban landscape. It comprises a series of photographs that reveal the gradual encroachment of construction sites on the city's environment, ultimately giving way to the emergence of towering office skyscrapers and bustling malls.



Carte de Visite
Carte de Visite is a school project that explores styling and photography with a historical theme. I dressed and styled my classmate to reflect a typical Victorian look, using pieces from my own wardrobe along with a few borrowed items. I also did the hair and makeup for the model.
